NEW DELHI: Care Ratings, Mrs Bectors Food Specialities, GNFC and JK Paper were among smallcap stocks that domestic mutual funds (MFs) bought in April. These domestic funds, meanwhile, were seen trimming exposure in Indiabulls Housing Finance, Mahanagar Gas and Hathway Cable, among others.

The month saw total inflows into equity funds declining to Rs 15,900 crore from Rs 28,500 crore in March. Ex-NFOs and ex-ELSS schemes, inflows into equity funds had fallen to Rs 12,500 crore in April from Rs 17,600 crore in March, an ICICIdirect report suggested.
